

You will gain more than you lose
Read: Matthew 16:24-27 and Philippians 3:1-11
In previous days, you read how the company of prophets felt the need to announce Elijah’s departure to Elisha, even though he also knew. They spoke of the obvious, that Elisha was about to lose what he had come to honor and treasure in the company of the greatest prophet of that time. (2 Kings 2:1-15)
As you pursue Yahweh, your “losses” may become painfully obvious, But do not be oblivious to what you will gain. Those around Elisha had no idea that he was about to pick up the mantle and receive a double portion of the Spirit of Elijah, perhaps they never thought it was in the realm of possibility.
Whatever you desire from Yahweh, it is within His power to grant your desires according to His will. Remain focused on what you stand to gain by pursuing the presence of Father Yahweh and ask for greater. He is looking for a people through whom He can show Himself mighty. Believe, ask and receive,
